Are there membership options for individuals?
No. Individuals may join our mailing list, but membership is reserved for companies and organizations. If you are a single-employee business, a startup or are otherwise self-employed we have a low membership rate of $200 a year.
If my company is a subsidiary of a current member, am I a member?
Maybe. Membership is based on legal status. If your subsidiary is incorporated as a separate business or entity, then you would not be a member and would need to join independently.
Organizational divisions, departments, or offices that fall under the legal umbrella of the parent corporation however are considered members, as long as the parent corporation's membership is in good standing.

Membership is based on the standard calendar year. This allows Life Science Tennessee to focus on a membership renewal campaign at the beginning of every year as memberships are renewed every January.
New members can join any time in the year and pay a prorated amount for membership based on the month in which they join. The prorated billing is done to satisfy a full year + the remaining months of the current calendar year.
Example: A membership for a 100-person company ($2,500) that joined on Oct 1, 2015 would be paid in full upon joining and then billed for $750 the following January 1 to complete their 2016 membership dues. Membership thereafter is billed on January 1.
What is the cost of membership?
Membership is calculated by the total number of employees employed by your company or organization.
Annual sponsorships are also given full membership status along with additional benefits including, advertising opportunities, event hosting, event passes, and more.
A specific membership dues chart can be found here.
